What does Lew Innovation do?
Lew Innovation is a Sydney-based engineering house that designs, builds and runs secure, privacy-first software for regulated industries, including healthcare, media and manufacturing. We provide fractional CTO and technical leadership, full product engineering, security and compliance engineering, team extension and managed support.
Which industries do you work in?
We focus on three regulated industries: healthcare and life sciences, media and entertainment, and manufacturing and industry. We also deliver purpose-led projects for mission-driven organisations, and work with founders and investors across sectors through fractional CTO, technical due diligence and platform rescue.
How do you protect sensitive data during development?
We never use real patient, customer or audience data for development or testing. We work in separate test environments with synthetic or de-identified data, apply role-based access and least privilege, encrypt data in transit and at rest, and keep audit trails of access and changes.
Have you built platforms for children or other sensitive audiences?
Yes. We built Kinderling, a kids' audio streaming platform designed to COPPA (the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), where privacy and compliance for young users shaped every product and data decision. We design children's products to Australia's Children's Online Privacy Code, which takes effect on 10 December 2026.

You do. Code, infrastructure and documentation live in your accounts and repositories from day one, and we can hand over to your internal team whenever you are ready.
